Counselor, (Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA)
Hope Recovery Resources/Hope Homes is accepting applications for an addictions counselor/recovery coach for our Charlotte, NC Men’s and Women’s Communities. Hope Recovery Resources provides long-term, extended care recovery residences and professional continuing care services to adult men and women in recovery from addiction, emotional, and eating disorders.
Location: Charlotte, NC and Atlanta, GA
Position: Full-time Life and Part-time Skill Counselor positions.
Hours: 20-40 hours per week, some flexible shifts.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with adults in recovery from an addictive, emotional, or eating disorder. S/he must have excellent communication and organizational skills; a strong work ethic; and a professional demeanor. Personal experience with recovery is a plus. If recovering from substance use disorder, applicants must have 2 years of demonstrated recovery.
Job Requirements:
- Facilitate weekly meetings and groups
- Case management and referral development
- Participate in on-call rotation and conduct curfew checks and drug screens
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and weekly staff meetings
- Must be able to work flexible hours
Qualifications Needed:
- A Bachelor’s degree minimum in a health or human service field preferred (Social Work, Counseling, etc)
- 2+ years of work experience in a human service field
