Independent Living

After successfully graduating from the HOPE Recovery program, which generally takes 6 months – 1 year, residents can apply for the “Independent Living” phase of the program. This phase allows residents a great deal of autonomy but still provides them with many HOPE Recovery support services. It is the perfect way to transition from life in a recovery residence to living on one’s own.

HOPE Recovery Graduation Criteria

  • Completion of 6 months at HOPE Recovery
  • Approval from staff
  • Demonstrated leadership in the HOPE Recovery community
  • Support group attendance and regular contact with a sponsor or mentor
  • Demonstrated service work in the recovery community
  • 90 Day period of consistent work with an outside therapist
  • Regular attendance at treatment continuing care, if treatment participated occurred at a local center
  • No interventions within 60 days of application
  • No outstanding balance
