Non Residential Service Offerings

Non Residential Service Offerings

Recovery from substance use, co-occurring and other mental health disorders requires a full continuum of care to provide the greatest chance of a long term, successful recovery. Hope Homes pioneered professional recovery residence services and has grown to expand its reach, now part of HOPE Recovery Resources. HOPE Recovery now offers to the greater community continuing care recovery services once only available to its residents. These “whole-istic”, strength-based services offer men and women the structure and support necessary to maintain a sustained recovery.

Developing a comprehensive recovery plan requires a careful and thorough assessment. Whether recommended for legal reasons, or you are seeking a treatment (level of care) recommendation for yourself or a loved one, HOPE Recovery offers objective recommendations and referrals for continued care.

Numerous studies show that monitoring programs are highly effective at facilitating long-term recovery. For decades, this type of program has only been available at great cost, to licensed professionals like physicians and pilots.

Touchstones Monitoring makes this powerful tool an affordable and accessible option for everyone, offering random and observed screens in a safe and supportive environment. Our partnership with a national network of testing providers offers a full range of screening options that allows our clients the ability to remain accountable regardless of their location or travel schedule.

Recovery Coaching

Recovery coaching is the process of offering strengths-based support to individuals working to maintain a solid foundation in recovery from substance use or emotional disorders. The role of the coach is to assist ‘coachees’ in identifying and utilizing recovery capital (internal and external resources), building upon recovery to achieve other life goals that make recovery worthwhile. Coaching sessions are non-clinical and action-oriented, with an emphasis on improving present life.

Coaches:

  • Support positive changes
  • Support those transitioning out of treatment programs to sustain recovery
  • Help to build community support
  • Help individuals identify and achieve goals
  • Provide accountability

Traveling during early recovery is a particularly stressful event for an individual as well as their family. High stress and an abundance of triggers make it a particularly vulnerable time. Having a trained companion can provide support and a sense of security during this high-risk time. Historically offered as an occasional, adjunct service to our residents, HOPE Recovery Resources has expanded this offering to the greater community. Sober transportation can be utilized to ensure a safe arrival from home to treatment or making a possible door-to-door transfer from residential treatment to a recovery residence.

Off-Site Independent Living Support

Our on-site Independent Living Program (often referred to as 7/8), has historically been our lowest level of care, offering increased autonomy as a resident prepared for transition out of one of our HOPE Recovery residence communities.

Frequently, Hope Homes residents decide to reside together after exiting the community and benefit from incorporating recovery support services into their new environment. Based on an individualized and collaborative recovery contract, a HOPE Recovery Life Skills Counselor will provide a monthly home check and community meeting in their own environment.

Off-Site Independent Living services include monthly a home visit and 2 random drug screens per month. This service is ideal for former Hope Homes residents or any individual who has completed a treatment program but would benefit from ongoing accountability and monitoring. A customizable plan offers individuals and their families reassurance that the necessary support remains in place.
