Why We Conduct Drug Screens
At HOPE Recovery, safety and accountability are the watch words of our recovery residences. HOPE Recovery staff randomly conduct drug screens to ensure the safety of our communities. Drug screens assist residents in developing a willingness to accept responsibility and be accountable for their actions and remain in integrity with themselves and their community, and to actively demonstrate recovery behaviors.
- Drug screens are performed frequently on a random basis.
- Residents are responsible for any confirmation testing at an approved, independent laboratory.
- The following drug screening methods are used alternatively:
- 13 Panel Cup
- Breathalyzers
- Full Laboratory Screen on an as needed basis
